2009 EPYSA Challenge Cup State Champions!
Congratulations to the Souderton Cyclones 2008-2009 U-14F team. On May 16th, 2009 the Cyclones defeated Lehigh Valley United 1-0 in the EPYSA Challenge Cup Finals. The Cyclones went undefeated in seven games to take the title.
By earning the state title, the Cyclones advanced to the regional qualifier round of the US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup played on the weekend of May 30-31. The Cyclones outscored the competition from PAW and NYW 9-1, but the only goal they surrendered came against a strong FC Pittsburgh club which knocked them out of the tournament with a 1-0 loss.
